Do you agree that Brutus had a noble motive when murdering his adopted
father, Julius Caesar? Discuss.
Yes, I agree
that Brutus had a noble motive when murdering his adopted father, Julius
Caesar. Once he met with Cassius and other men after receiving a letter from
Cassius, he said that they needed to be sacrificers not butchers. This means
that Brutus didn’t want to kill Julius Caesar in evil way but in honorable way.
Before killed his adopted father, Brutus kept thinking whether he was doing the
right thing or not as he didn’t want Julius Caesar to become a king because he
knew his adopted father very well. It was said that Brutus loved his adopted
father very much but he had to slew him as he became too ambitious. By killing
Caesar, he can stopped Caesar from being too dictator to Romans as he wanted
the noble man to be the leader or king.
Yes it is true. It is better to kill his father rather than let thousand of innocent people died because of his cruelty.
